For the next two weeks, 64 teams will look to defy — or prove — their seedings in more than a dozen U.S. cities, culminating in a national championship showdown on April 6 in Tampa, Fla.

To get there, teams will pass through Los Angeles, Baton Rouge, La., Chapel Hill, N.C. and Fort Worth, Texas, to name just a few sites. While we know where the schools are going to play, where does each team hail from?

The Athletic mapped out the entire women’s March Madness field and the distance these teams must travel for Round 1. Distances were calculated using the shortest driving route between each school and the host city via Google Maps.

The top four seeds in each of the four brackets host games in the first and second rounds. Neutral-site games start during the Sweet 16 and will be held in Spokane, Wash., and Birmingham, Ala. The final two teams left standing will meet in Florida for the championship.

Spoiler: Richmond, Oregon and Oregon State have some of the farthest ways to go physically, traveling more than 2,600 miles each for Round 1. They might have an easier time flying through the bracket. It is March, after all. Expect the unexpected.
