ALEXANDRIA, La. - Detectives with the Louisiana State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Alexandria. Authorities say it happened just after 10 p.m. Wednesday on Willow Glen Street at 3 ^rd Street in Alexandria.

Details of exactly what happened have not yet been released as the investigation continues.

One person was shot. No officers were injured during the incident.
