OPP East Region later posted indicating the collision included a fatality to one of the drivers. A subsequent release from SDG OPP indicated the 61-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene, with the driver of the other vehicle involved sustaining no serious physical injuries.

County Road 25 was closed to allow officers, supported by OPP technical collision investigators and a collision reconstructionist to complete their on-scene investigation.
