WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to a house fire on March 30 at Canyon Creek Street. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found heavy smoke coming from the residence, with all occupants out of the home. Thankfully, no firefighter or resident injuries were reported. The fire caused an estimated $75,000 in damage. The cause is determined to be an electrical failure in the D-square breaker-style power switch mounted on the exterior wall at the AC condenser unit.
