REDWOOD — State police seized 33 guns and charged a father and son with multiple felonies after executing search warrants Tuesday at three northern Jefferson County properties as part of what troopers described as a “major” firearms and animal cruelty investigation.

Guy J. Plumb, 28, of Redwood, is charged with two felony counts each of criminal possession of a firearm and aggravated cruelty to animals and one count each of second-degree criminal sale of a firearm and criminal sale of a semiautomatic rifle, both felonies.
