Yelp released its Best Seafood in Every State 2025 list and a metro Phoenix seafood counter made the cut, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Michelin-starred restaurants.

Aside from finding the best seafood restaurant, Yelp noted that search for seafood had increased 34 percent in 2024 compared with previous years. Additionally three trends were apparent: Seafood boils have become more popular, people think "market" means fresh and so-called "Fine-casual" dining is taking over the seafood space.

As always, the method included searching for restaurants with the term "seafood" in the category or reviews and then taking into account a variety of factors including geography, rating and volume of reviews.

Here's a look at the Arizona restaurant that made Yelp's Best Seafood of 2025 list.

Chula Seafood in Scottsdale

This family-owned seafood market and restaurant receives fresh, sustainable seafood from San Diego daily. The shop offers counter service where customers can get raw seafood, lobster rolls, clam chowder, poke bowl and daily specials from the menu.

Worth noting, Chula Seafood's shrimp and potato taco dorado took home gold at the 2024 Taco Fest with a score of 10/10.
