Some of the storms may be strong to severe, mainly across central Missouri. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats from these storms. Locally heavy rain will also be possible." Storm chances continue through the week, with precipitation probabilities ranging from 20 percent on Wednesday and Thursday to higher chances earlier in the week. Additional storms are possible Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

Thunderstorms are possible throughout the day on Tuesday, with a high near 82 degrees. The National Weather Service says, "There may be some strong to severe storms again Tuesday, though it is less likely."
