After disasters like Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Congress approved billions of dollars in "mailbox money" last year to help farmers recover and to bolster the farming economy. Now, that money is being deposited into farmers' bank accounts, but the Illinois Farm Service Office said farmers need to be proactive to get their share of the cash.
