Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that ruptured a gas line just northwest of Wichita. A pickup and a minivan collided around 5:45 p.m. Friday at 21st Street North and 167th Street West. Natural gas was coming from a break in a line at the intersection when crews arrived. Fire crews and a team from Black Hills Energy worked to cap the leak. A 74-year-old man from the pickup was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Three people from the minivan, a 46-year-old man and two children ages 11 and 13, were taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries. Traffic was blocked around the area for a time after the crash.
