The last weekend in March brings a ton of fun to the Springfield area.

There's plenty going on, including live concerts, art exhibits, the circus and much more.

Here are five things we found to do.

All-American Circus



What: This year, Oscar Garcia presents a new show, perfect for the whole family with two showtimes this weekend. A kids fun zone with a bounce house, camel rides, photobooth, face painting and treats table will be available one hour before shows begin.

More: Tickets are varying prices for dates , but adult tickets are $15 for general admission, while children are $5.

Bit By Bit Exhibit



What: Curated by the UIS Visual Arts Gallery, the exhibition at the Kidzeum features professional artists working in fiber, handmade paper, animation, sculpture, painting and installation to examine healing in its many forms—physical, emotional and social.

This exhibit includes artists Beth Barron of Minneapolis, Betsy Dollar of Springfield, Tanya Gill of Chicago, Rita Grendze of Chicago, Janie Stamm of St. Louis, Selina Trepp of Chicago, Grant Benoit of St. Louis, Amanda Grieve of Edinburg, Shane Harris of Springfield and artist seating by the UIS Art Students League.

Where: Kidzeum of Health and Science, 412 E. Adams St.

More: Exhibits will be on display until May 11 with admission at $6, or with general Kidzeum admission.

Rock 'n' Roll at Dumb Records



What: Four bands from Illinois and Michigan are meeting up to play rock for the ages. Bands featured are Super 88 from Peoria, Acid Fog and Scarlet Darling of Springfield and Time Creep out of Detroit, Michigan.

Where: Dumb Records, 418 E. Monroe St.

More: Admission is $10. A certain Detroiter reporter will be there, so say hi!

Puppy Yoga



What: Almost Home Rescue will bring adoptable puppies to spend a relaxing and fun yoga class with you. Each ticket includes the 45-minute yoga class and two drink tickets. Mimosas and mocktails will be served. Please bring your own mats as they will not be provided. Tickets are $25 .

More: If you want to adopt a puppy, you must fill out an adoption application prior to the event date for early approval. Applications are on the Almost Home Rescue webpage thealmosthomerescue.com .

Film Screening of Susan Lawrence Dana



What: "Susan Lawrence Dana: A Great Lady Lived Here,” tells the story of Susan Lawrence Dana, original owner of what is now the Dana-Thomas House State Historic Site. Adapted and directed by Kevin Purcell and performed by Leigh Steiner, it features a first-person interpretation of Dana’s life and encourages the viewer to take a deeper look into the story of, in Purcell’s words, “a woman who had the fortitude and imagination to create her own path in a time when few women were given this opportunity.”

Where: 326 S. Seventh St.

More: This event is free for all ages to watch and relax in the Lincoln Library while learning Springfield history.
